Time Lapse – 200 Years from the beginning of the Greek Revolution
About this event
"Mais voici que Pan de sa flûte recommence à jouer..." marks the beginning of one of the most important pieces ever written for the flute – Syrinx composed by Claude Debussy. Our homage to our culture is a journey that starts in Ancient Greece, in the woods of Arcadia, where the god Pan will confess his love for Syrinx. This recital features the two titans of impressionism – Ravel and Debussy – alongside two world premiere recordings: Time Lapse, written for this occasion by one of the most important Greek artists, Achilleas Wastor; and Fantasia Concertante on Bellini's "I Puritani" by Pavlos Carrer. This is what happened when we decided to let our imagination run wild. Our Creative Team: Andreas Morell, Benedikt Schröder, Nefeli Mousoura, Stathis Karapanos. Filmed at the Teldex Studio in Berlin and produced by Alfa Consulting Services Ltd.
