Classical music is underserved by the internet
As classical music enthusiasts, we are disappointed by current digital music services. None of them make allowances for the unique structure of classical music.
This can be frustrating and lead to bad user experiences: maddening searches, torn apart works and irrelevant recommendations.
At IDAGIO we want to improve this
The key to discovering the beautiful world of classical music is a metadata structure that works. We started by laying out a data model that accounts for all the various details that come with classical music: composer, era, instrument, performer etc.
And even earlier, we started handpicking and curating versions of the “all-you-must-hear” compositions, with more content being added to our repertoire all the time.
IDAGIO will launch early 2015

DESIGNED FROM EXPERIENCE, BUILT WITH PASSION
We are a team of classical musicians and enthusiasts, who have built IDAGIO from scratch to manage classical music right!
SEARCH, FIND, PLAY
Our database enables us to improve the listening experience. You are able to seamlessly browse through works and recordings, listen to curated playlists that are based on emotions and easily search for a recording as IDAGIO is structured on relevant and correct metadata.
HANDPICKED & CURATED
Every recording has been hand-picked, to ensure it is the full recording in its best possible quality and all tracks are based on a work, not CD structure.
MORE THAN JUST AN APP
We are more than a music-streaming service, we aim to become the music platform that brings classical musicians and audiences together in one place. An online community, where you can listen to your favourite pieces anytime, anywhere.
US & Canada
To our friends in the US and Canada, unfortunately we have had to temporarily delay the release of IDAGIO due to copyright restrictions in your region. You may still download the app to view the interface, however our repertoire will not be available.
Therefore, please add your email address into the field on the left for updates as to when the app will become available to you.
